Class of 1942 to Publish a Book
In December the Class of 1942 will be publishing a book entitled "Dartmouth at War" containing survivors of the Dartmouth Class of '42 recollections of their WWII experiences and its impact on their Dartmouth experience. Classmates were all in the first semester of their senior year when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Members of the Class either left college right then or remained for early graduation and then went to war. 91% of '42s served. The Class leadership has collected some riveting experiences - some humorous some hair raising. If any members of your class would be interested in purchasing this book at $49.95 please get in touch with Leo Caproni, president of the Class of 1942 and editor of this book. Prior to September 30, they are offering a 20% discount. Leo may be reached here.
